PDR Training Feedback

 

I would recommend Dentrix to anybody thinking about PDR training. The free open day was a great taster, I would recommend it to anyone thinking of taking a course. It was great to be able to try out all the different tools to see which ones worked best for me.

I found John’s training style particularly useful as it combined demonstration with practical application and at a pace that was easy to follow. Being able to train on a vehicle rather than just panels on stands was also very beneficial. I like the fact that we were able to try tools out before purchasing them and at no time did John try to “hard sell” these products. The training venue has everything you need, even a punch bag to vent your frustration! John’s abilities are absolutely outstanding. As a teacher, very patient and takes time out to help each individual. Nothing is a problem. I had doubts as anyone who was paying for the course would. If you are serious about PDR, this training course is a must! Money very well spent. I knew before I came down that it was going to be hard, I have had a week of very mixed emotions. Literally highs and lows (excuse the pun!) I’d watch John intently, making mental notes, eyes watching, ears listening and brain thinking yeah! I thought, I can do that, get the tools in your hands and it all goes to buggery!! It really took until Thursday and just a helpful hint from John while doing my test, things came together for me. I know you could fault my test work but for me it was the best I had done. It’s then you realise what John has been trying to teach you. It takes absolute patience, concentration and determination. I am totally satisfied with the knowledge I am going home with. Thank you.

Johns a top geeza, a really good teacher and very patient. Didn’t spent hours talking us through it, he showed us and then let us get stuck in and make the most our time. It was a pleasure to learn from someone who is at the top of the game and someone who is so passionate about their work. 5 days is ample, its true what John says, you don’t need the 2 or 3 week courses, you just need to learn the basic skills behind PDR, a 3 week course is a waste of money. Once you have your basic skills then it’s time to go home and practice in your own time for free. I must admit the first day [oh **** Monday] was a really depressing day. I only then realised then how hard PDR is. The further into the week I got, the more confidence I had towards PDR. Come Friday I was full of confidence and really excited about my future in PDR.

 

It was also nice to go out to the pub with John and his wife for a few pints and the best burger I have ever had. Was great to speak with John away from the training venue and made us closer as a training group and I think helped us progress faster. I am soon to be the proud owner of a dent puller kit. I had never heard of dent pulling before the course, it’s fantastic. It was great to try it out on a real car with old paint, it was great to see the different stresses you can put the paint under before it comes off in your hand!
